About Me

Hello!

My name is Nadzima Afifah, but everyone calls me Dima. I’m from a small city in Indonesia, and I am currently completing my final practicum in Bumble and Bean. This practicum marks an important milestone in my journey, where I have gained invaluable experiences working with other educators, young children and seeing first-hand the impact that compassionate care can have.

My approach to early childhood education centers on creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and heard. I believe in the importance of listening to children’s unique voices—both in words and actions—so that they feel truly understood. By building respectful and supportive relationships, I aim to help children feel a deep sense of belonging, which I see as the foundation for their well-being and growth.

In this final practicum, I am excited to bring my skills into practice, creating meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues. In the future, I hope to continue learning, growing, and refining my approach, allowing each experience to guide me in becoming the educator I aspire to be. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young children and to explore how these moments shape my understanding and practice.
